Alfresco Fans Rejoice! MARTINI Brings a Taste of Italian Summer to London with its 'Fiero Waterfront' Pop-Up

London, UK, 7 May 2019: As summer approaches, London’s food and drink enthusiasts begin their quest for the perfect sunny hang-out spot. This year, iconic Italian drinks brand MARTINI is providing a gorgeously scenic solution to celebrate the launch of MARTINI Fiero – the hottest new summer drink sensation.

From 22nd May to 21st June, visitors to the ‘Fiero Waterfront’ pop-up in Merchant Square will be invited to immerse themselves in the Italian ‘aperitivo’ lifestyle of relaxing with a spread of tasty food and drink in the company of friends.

On the bustling waterfront, visitors will taste their very first sip of MARTINI Fiero & Tonic, which offers an explosion of 100% natural, bittersweet orange flavour and the quality stamp of MARTINI’s 150-year drinks heritage. 75ml of MARTINI Fiero and 75ml of tonic water, poured over ice with a fresh orange garnish, creates a zesty, ice-cold serve that is beautifully, naturally red.

To do as the Italians do, guests can enjoy their drinks with an exclusive menu created by ‘Pasta e Basta’ – the maestros of Italian streetfood and pasta – featuring authentic dishes like N'duja calabrese crostini, creamy Burrata pugliese and cured meat platters.

Completing the experience, visitors can also take leisurely skippered boat trips down to Little Venice and back on a vintage Riva yacht, with an aperitivo picnic and MARTINI Fiero & Tonics awaiting them on board. Delivering a stylish dose of la dolce vita, the experience will bring a flourish of Italian glamour to Paddington’s waterways.

MARTINI will bring the aperitivo occasion to life at Merchant Square from midday to 9pm on selected dates from 22nd May to 21st June, allowing ample time for long lunches, after work drinks or sunset get-togethers. Guests will find plenty of tables and chairs, as well as space to spill out onto the grass for a bask in the sun.
